Director of Community Service, Catlin Gabel School, 2005 – 2010 • Established Homework Club - a highly successful mentoring program for children of farm-workers. • Collaborated with Bienestar & Hillsboro School District to write proposal for I Have A Dream. • Established ongoing partnerships and events with dozens of non-profits. Organized logistics for hundreds of volunteers. • Partnered with teachers to develop an ambitious strategic plan for community service. Solicited feedback, created buy-in, and built critical mass. My work on this initiative was characterized as masterful by the school principal. |
Director of Student Activities, Catlin Gabel School, 2005 – 2008
• Supervised all student clubs, trips, events, dances, and budgets.
• Developed and managed Winterim, an experiential learning week for hundreds of students, dozens of venues, in multiple cities, and a $80,000 budget.
• Served on Kid Group committee, a safety net for students and families in challenging situations.
Executive Director – San Francisco Vikings Soccer Club, 1999
• Hired as the first ED to serve 2000 youth soccer players.
• Immediately developed rapport with all key constituents, even those with a historically antagonistic relationship with the club.
• Brokered conversations between groups and professionalized the club.
• Developed the club’s first budget and set accountability standards.
Director of Technology, Crystal Springs School, Urban School of San Francisco 1993 – 1999
• Managed the entire technology program from roll-out to implementation and assesment.
• Chaired the technology committee.
• Developed numerous fundraising presentations for donors, faculty, and the Board.
• Worked collaboratively with constituents to create a five-year strategic plan.
• Financial responsibilities included planning, budgeting, and cost control.

• Provided consulting for customized solutions to corporations such as Apple Computer & Cisco Systems.
• Responsible for project management from proposal writing to customer satisfaction and assessment.
• Supervised employees. Coordinated and managed numerous simultaneous projects.
• Developed press releases and represented Globus at trade shows.
Founding Director, San Francisco Coed Soccer League, 1985 - 1987
• Created this non-profit by partnering with existing organizations as well as city officials.
• Recruited and empowered volunteers.
